Terms and Conditions / Client Services Agreement

This Terms and Conditions / Client Services Agreement (“Agreement”) governs the provision of career coaching, advisory, and related professional services (collectively, the “Services”) provided by Jobferno, LLC (“Jobferno,” “company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) to the individual receiving Services (“Client”) and any individual or entity remitting payment for the Services (“Payor”). By scheduling, paying for, or participating in Services, Client and Payor acknowledge and agree to be bound by the terms set forth herein.

1. Nature of Services

1.1 Advisory Scope

Services are advisory, consultative, and educational in nature and may include coaching sessions, professional document review, interview preparation guidance, career strategy, and guidance.

1.2 No Employment Guarantee

Jobferno does not act as a recruiter, employment agency, or placement service and does not guarantee employment, interviews, promotions, or compensation.

1.3 No Guarantee of Results. Client and Payor acknowledges that outcomes are influenced by external factors beyond Jobferno’s control, including market conditions, employer decisions, and personal qualifications.

1.4 Consumer Acknowledgment

Client acknowledges that Services are educational and advisory only. Refunds are provided only as expressly described in this Agreement.

1.5 Multi-State Service Disclaimer

While Jobferno may provide Services to Clients located anywhere in the United States, the Jobferno operates primarily in Iowa. Clients residing outside of Iowa acknowledge that coaching may not be tailored to local or regionally specific employment regulations.

2. Session Structure & Delivery

2.1 Session Duration: Scheduled coaching sessions are typically thirty (30) minutes long. This represents a calendar allotment and is not a minimum or fixed requirement.

2.2 Coach Assignment: Each session is led by at least one qualified career coach. Jobferno does not guarantee continuity of the same coach for all sessions.

3. Scheduling & Attendance

3.1 Initial Session Requirement: Clients must attend their first scheduled session (“Initial Session”) within thirty (30) calendar days of payment. Failure to attend will result in account closure and a full refund. Attendance at the Initial Session constitutes activation; after this point, no refunds will be provided.

3.2 Rescheduling: Sessions not rescheduled or missed after the Initial Session will require a thirty (30) day wait before the next available session.

5. Payment & Refunds

5.2 Initial Setup Fee: Each new Client account requires a one-time, non-refundable initial setup fee. This fee is waived only by maintaining an active monthly subscription without interruption.

5.3 Subscription Services: Monthly subscription services automatically renew and auto-pay each month using the payment method on file.

5.5 Refund Policy

  • Full refund only if the Initial Session is not attended within 30 days of payment.
  • Once the Initial Session is attended, no refunds will be issued.
  • Late arrivals or early departures do not result in partial refunds or credits.

11. Governing Law & Venue

This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of Iowa. Any legal action must be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Des Moines, Iowa.

14. Separate Entities

Client acknowledges that Jobferno, LLC and Jobferno Media, LLC are distinct legal entities. Jobferno does not share, publish, or use Client information for media production purposes.
