I’M A STUDENT

Graduation: its building time

Being a student gives you an opportunity to prepare before you have to make that transition. You can learn more about your abilities and interests, explore different types of work, and begin to understand what different careers may require. You can also develop skills and experiences that can help you become better prepared for the opportunities ahead.

Choosing a career is about more than choosing a job after graduation. A job may be your first opportunity to earn an income, but your first career can become the foundation for your professional life. Understanding where you may fit before you begin can help you make more informed decisions about the opportunities you pursue.

Career Questing gives you a place to start. Through quests and assessments, you can explore your interests, abilities, experiences, and career options while you are still preparing for life after school.

You do not need to know exactly what you want to do today. You do need to start exploring your options and preparing for what comes next.

Your first career is ahead of you. Start preparing for it now.
