Complicated is a word that understates your life's journey. So far, you have managed to work many different jobs. At this point you consider yourself as a professional. However, what you are a professional of or the profession you had, is not something financially sustaining.
Between ages 28 and 36, this is the first time you question your career path. You realize the college education you received is not earning you financial stability. Now, with uncertainty lingering, depression taking hold, and the go-nowhere job is...going nowhere, you are ready for a change.
Feeling behind is natural. You have friends and you have met people younger than you who "got it together" a while ago. Somehow, they seem to have nice cars, they are building their first home, and they have investments aplenty.
